Young Artists Needed for Art Show

 

Thousand Oaks, CA (July 6, 2006) Many Mansions is seeking young artists, kindergarten through twelfth grade, to be creative and showcase their artwork for the Bowls of Hope Project in November 2006.

 

The theme of the art show is Affordable Housing and Social Justice.  All art forms are accepted and will be displayed during the Bowls of Hope Project held at Calamigos Ranch in Malibu, on November 5, 2006 from 11:00-2:00pm.  Prizes will be given to the top 3 artists who best portray the theme of the art show in their work.  Each participant will receive one free ticket to the Bowls of Hope Project. The deadline for art work submission is October 27, 2006 by 4:00 p.m.

About the Bowls of Hope Project

The Bowls of Hope Project is an event that is designed to spread awareness of the need for affordable housing and Many Mansions’ services and programs.  Each bowl created at the Bowl Painting party will be donated back to Many Mansions and will be given to event goers who attend the event as a reminder of the day. The Bowls of Hope Project will commence on November 5th 2006 at Calamigos Ranch from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm.
