“Bowls of Hope” Project seeks sponsors

 

Thousand Oaks, CA (September 22, 2006) Many Mansions is seeking sponsorship for its annual Bowls of Hope Project taking place on November 5, 2006 at Calamigos Ranch from 11am-2pm.  Sponsorship opportunities include monetary, in-kind, and media related support.

 

Proceeds from the Bowls of Hope will support Many Mansions Services Department which provides life-enriching services for children and adults.  Services include an After-School Homework Literacy Program, Teen Club, Camp Many Mansions, Holiday Gift Program, Emergency Food Assistance, Case Management, On-site Service Coordination and more.

 

The event will include over 500 ceramic bowls painted by members of the community, a simple meal of soup and bread, a merchant market with a silent auction, live artists, and musical performances.

About the Bowls of Hope Project

The Bowls of Hope Project is an event that is designed to spread awareness of the need for affordable housing and Many Mansions’ services and programs.  Each bowl created at the Bowl Painting party will be donated back to Many Mansions and will be given to event goers who attend the event as a reminder of the day. The Bowls of Hope Project will commence on November 5th 2006 at Calamigos Ranch from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm.
