BLUEZ BOYZ Concert to BENEFIT MAny MAnsions
Thousand Oaks, CA (February 1, 2006) A little Big Bad Voodoo Daddy mixed with the
sounds of Duke Ellington and James Brown is what you’ll hear as young
jazz sensations, the Bluez Boyz, show off their musical
genius for charity. The Bluez Boyz will host a concert
featuring vocalist Chris Johnson to benefit Many
Mansions at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza Scherr Forum on March 5,
2006 at 4:00PM.
If you
haven’t experienced the sweet soulful sound of the Bluez Boyz, be prepared to be moved out of your seats! It’s hard to
believe these seasoned musicians are only teenagers, ages 14-18, when you hear
their smooth jazz melodies flowing through your eardrums. Looks can be deceiving, and clearly these
Boyz know how to Rock!

Last year’s Bluez Boyz sold out concert raised $10,000 in
efforts to aid Many Mansions’
Children Services Department, and the young prodigies have once again lent
their talents to help support organization’s mission. The proceeds from the concert will benefit Many Mansions’ Children Services Department, which provides a safe
haven for disadvantaged youth through its after school Homework Literacy
Program, Kids Café, Summer Camp, and Teen Club.
Tickets are $25.00. VIP tickets are available for $50.00 and include front section seating and a pre-concert cocktail and hors’deurves reception at Claim Jumper at The Lakes.
