Many Mansions kick-off Duck Race with Rally at Outback Steakhouse

Thousand Oaks, CA (February 1, 2006) Got Ducks? It that time of year where rubber duckies put on their shades and get ready for the Many Mansions Duck Race!  Many Mansions is partnering up with Outback Steakhouse at the Lakes to host the Aussie-Style DUCK Rally Fundraiser on May 7th, 2006 from 12:00-2:00pm.  

This event is the official kick-off to the 8th Many Mansions Duck Race that will be held on May 21, 2006 from 11am-3pm at the Lakes in Thousand Oaks. Each guest will have a choice of 9 oz. center cut sirloin, an 11 oz. salmon filet or an 8 oz. chicken breast served with rice, a small caesar salad and a beverage. The Children’s meal includes a beverage and a choice of a cheeseburger or chicken fingers with french fries. Tickets are available for $15.00 for Adults and $5.00 for children and can be purchased through Many Mansions or Outback Steakhouse the day of the event.

The proceeds from the DUCK Rally Fundraiser benefit Many Mansions’ Children Services Department which provides a safe haven for resident children through the Homework/Literacy Club, Kids Café, Summer Camp and Teen Club.
