Gift Program
Annual Appeal Benefits Many Mansions Residents

Oaks, CA - Jan 08, 2007 The “Joy of the Season” was very
apparent in December 2006 for the residents of Many Mansions, as supporters
showed their generosity by adopting a child or adult resident with special
needs. This was part of the nonprofit’s annual Holiday Gift Program.
Hollywood
Storage Center of Thousand Oaks, Starbucks® in Newbury Park, Courtyard by
Marriott©-Thousand Oaks along with Jill 92.7 FM hosted a fabulous week-long
Holiday Gift Drive to add a little extra joy to the residents of Many
Mansions in addition to the organization’s annual appeal.
“I thought the campaign was very successful,” said Lindsey Garner, Many Mansions’ Community
Development Associate. “It’s so amazing to see the generosity of our
donors, so eager to give and to use what they have to bless other people’s
lives.”
This
is the fourth consecutive year Many Mansions has provided this program to
its residents. Thanks to the many generous supporters of the Holiday Gift
Program, the nonprofit was able to give over 300 families a little
something extra for the holidays. Numerous toys, gift cards, and donations
were collected totaling nearly $19,000 in value.
Sequoia Middle School,
Securitas Security Service, Electronic Clearing House, Rotary Club of Oak Park,
and St. Jude’s Catholic Church were among the donors for the gift program
in 2006.
