WELLS FARGO DONATES $10K to MANY MANSIONS

Thousand Oaks, CA (February 21, 2006) MANY MANSIONS received a $10,000 grant from the Wells Fargo Foundation from funds that were allocated to service outstanding community organizations.

“The loyal support of Wells Fargo has taken us far over the years,” said Nichole Ipach, Director of Resource Development. “Many Mansions has been able to expand our services by 31% to include two new properties, Hacienda de Feliz and Bella Vista, which have allowed us to house hundreds more individuals in need.”

Wells Fargo has provided grant funding to Many Mansions for over six years.  In 2005, Wells Fargo gave the organization a $10,000 grant as in prior years, contributing greatly to the success of the non-profit.  The charitable contribution is part of Wells Fargo’s goal “to invest in the long-term well being of the communities they serve”.  For the fifth consecutive year, Wells Fargo awarded more than $10 million to over 1,000 organizations throughout the greater Los Angeles area, including Ventura County.

“Wells Fargo is committed to giving back to the communities we serve, through longtime partnerships we share with so many outstanding local non-profit organizations like Many Mansions,” said Gary Steffens, Wells Fargo Bank representative.  “Many Mansions is dedicated to serving the Ventura County area by providing affordable housing and services to those in need.  We are proud to support its efforts and we look forward to continuing to strengthen our relationship in the future.”

Many Mansions plans to use the grant money to aid with the cost of general operations and the expansion of its Children and Adult Services programs.  Both programs provide services such as after-school homework literacy programs, teen club, childcare, case management, and on-site service coordination to limited-income residents.
