  Children Services
The Children Services programs are designed to serve all resident children of Many Mansions' properties. All of the Children Services programs are evaluated by participants in an effort to better serve and support their needs. These include such programs as:

After School Homework/Literacy Program
Three homework/literacy and tutoring programs are available to our resident children during the school year, Monday through Thursday from 3:00pm until 6:00pm. The children are assisted by trained staff and volunteers and have full access to a library, computer, and other educational resources.

Teen Internship Program
This service is a teen leadership program provided in collaboration with the Parks and Recreation Outreach Program which operates twice a month and is designed to help our resident teenagers make good choices, become leaders, and make a difference in our community by engaging in volunteer and internship opportunities. Guest speakers visit with the teens to discuss career development, educational opportunities, job training, resume writing, volunteer opportunities, and world issues.

Friday Activity Club
This program is for children under 12 and, twice a month, offers resident children an opportunity to be involved in projects and activities to help them learn how to make good choices.  Guest speakers focus on safety and health issues to provide education and support to participating children.  Volunteers also assist with activities such as movie nights and dance classes.

Camp Many Mansions
Camp Many Mansions runs for seven weeks each summer. Resident children participate in activities such as sports, games, arts/crafts, and fieldtrips that many would not be able to experience without the assistance of Many Mansions. The camp is designed to be a fun and educational program for resident children, inspiring their creativity and encouraging their interests. Between 50 and 60 children participate each summer.

Kid's Cafe
In cooperation with FoodSHARE, the Ventura County Food Bank, nutritious daily snacks are provided for children who participate in our all of the Children Services programs.

Volunteers
Community volunteers play an integral part in all of our programs by generously giving of their time to tutor children, plan and lead activities, oversee crafts and games, guest speaking, and much more.
