Elaine Benditson Director of Development |
Elaine Benditson is the Director of Development at Many Mansions. She brings many years of fundraising experience, direct response marketing management, editorial and project management to this position. She was most recently the Director of Development at Santa Barbara Hillel, a student organization affiliated with UCSB, as well as the Director of Advancement at Abraham Joshua Heschel Day School, where she successfully raised annual giving by 29%. For more than 4 years, she was the Director of Alumni Development and Parent Relations at California Lutheran University, where she was instrumental in launching the Alumni Athletic Hall of Fame, the Scholar/Athlete Society, the Alumni Business Networking Breakfast Program, and an electronic newsletter. Prior to CLU, she was a senior account manager with a direct response marketing company in the San Fernando Valley, where she specialized in on-line education to the business-to-business, high-technology industry. Elaine has also held marketing and editorial management positions at Sage Publications and the RAND Corporation.
Elaine, a native of the United Kingdom, came to the Conejo Valley in 1968. She now resides in Oak Park and is a Trustee of the Community Foundation for Oak Park. She and her husband, Philip, a 3rd generation Californian, have two grown sons.
Elaine has a B.A. in English from the University of California, Los Angeles, and an MBA from California Lutheran University. |
