Claudia Cortez is currently studying veterinary medicine. She serves on the leadership team for the California Youth Connection, a non-profit that develops leaders who empower each other and their communities to transform the foster care system. She previously ran Claudia’s Closet, a non-profit organization that provides clothes for foster youth and low-income residents.
